Weekends seem to go by so fast for us. Russell got called into work at 11 p.m. Friday night and did not get home until 2:30 a.m. So the boys and I went to our favorite Saturday morning hang-out, McDonald's, so daddy could sleep late. They played on the indoor playground for over 2 hours! They love to make new friends and usually see school friends there. Chandler came down the big slide today for the first time without a shove from one of his big brothers. The rest of Saturday flew by and I think their favorite part was playing the Wii for hours.
Sunday was spent gathering Valentine's things. From flowers for teachers to making Valentine's for their classmates we had glitter, scissors, paper and glue everywhere! When finished, we all laughed so hard at Christian's Valentine box. Imagine, blue glitter, pink paper, hearts, ruffles, and lace.

Bop-Bop and Snow
Chandler
So we have been trying to break Chandler of his nightly "bop-bop". His sippy filled with chocolate milk (or skim with a little chocolate). It is NOT going well. We thought we had found a solution. We told him that baby Mason and baby Sam needed his bops because he is a big boy now and they are still babies. He was cool with this and said he'd let them have his bops. Well, as soon as he got sleepy he completely changed his mind. He laid in the floor, kicking and screaming that he was a baby, not a big boy and NOBODY was getting HIS bop-bops. Needless to say, he went to bed tonight with his bop-bop clutched in a death grip hold!
Christian
Christian is still sick. Bronchitis stinks! He however doesn't mind being sick one bit. One guess why....Maw Maw and Paw Paws house. He was so excited to be sick and get to spend two days at their house. Going back to school today was HARD! But, he did it and unfortunately felt poopy all day (according to the teacher). So, not sure if he was putting on a show to get to go back to Maw/Paws house tomorrow or not but he'll probably not be at school tomorrow.
Connor
For the past 2 weeks, Connor has gotten off the bus and badgered me about having a play date with Cameron. Now, they have started passing me notes. The first was Cameron's address. Cameron wrote his address down and wanted me to call his mom. When I informed Connor that I couldn't make a phone call with an address his response was "oh yeah, that was silly!". So, the next day, Connor got off the bus with another note with none other than Cameron's phone number. As the bus drove off, Cameron was making hand signs at me that clearly meant CALL MY MOM. So before we even made it home Connor had lost the paper. In a little boys world, the prospect of a missed play date is the end of the world. So after moping around for an hour I surprised him with Cameron's phone number and the promise that I'd call his mom tomorrow. (Little did he know that all along I could pull up his phone number on the neighborhood directory. I just thought it was fun to see what they were going to do.)
All together
Connor's teacher, Mrs. Wadsworth, has told them that if they wear their pajamas inside out, flush a piece of ice, and sleep with a spoon under their pillow it would snow. So, last night, there we were hovering over a toilet with three pieces of ice. This became a game of course...who could make the biggest splash. After that came the inside out pajamas and finally the spoon under the pillow. And wouldn't you know, it snowed and we had three extremely excited little boys!
